Genetic Dissection of Phosphorous Uptake and Utilization Efficiency Traits Using GWAS in Mungbean

چکیده

Mungbean (Vignaradiata L. Wilczek) is an early maturing legume grown predominantly in Asia for its protein-rich seeds. P deficiency can lead to several physiological disorders which ultimately result a low grain yield mungbean. The genetic dissection of PUpE (Puptake efficiency) and PUtE (P utilization traits are essential breeding mungbean varieties with high uptake efficiency. study involves association mapping panel consisting 120 genotypes were phenotyped total dry weight, concentration, uptake, efficiency under (LP) normal (NP) conditions hydroponic system. A genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) based genome-wide (GWAS) approach was employed dissect the complexity at level This has identified 116 SNPs 61 protein-coding genes these, 16 have been found enhance phosphorous mungbeans. We six expression (VRADI01G04370, VRADI05G20860, VRADI06G12490, VRADI08G20910, VRADI08G00070 VRADI09G09030) root, shoot apical meristem leaf, indicating their role regulation present three also validated using Sanger sequencing approach.

Genetic Dissection of Some Important Agronomic Traits in Rice Using Line × Tester Method

A study was conducted on genetics of some important agronomic traits (number of productive tillers per hill, plant height (cm), panicle length (cm), number of spikelets per panicle and 100-grain weight) in rice during 2012-13. Two lines were crossed with five testers in line × tester fashion to produce 10 F1 hybrids. Analysis of variance revealed significant differences among genotyp...

Study of genetic diversity in bread wheat germplasm using nitrogen uptake and nitrogen use efficiency characteristics

In order to evaluate the traits related to nitrogen utilization and to identify the superior genotypes, 33 bread wheat landraces along three check cultivars of Chamran and Koohdasht (from Iran) and Gobustan (from the Republic of Azerbaijan) were studied in simple lattice statistical design with two replications under two treatments of non-usage and application of 200 kg/ha ammonium nitrate fert...

Phosphorous Efficiency and Tolerance Traits for Selection of Sorghum for Performance in Phosphorous-Limited Environments

Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) is widely cultivated in West Africa (WA) on soils with low phosphorus (P) availability. Large genetic variation for grain yield (GY) under low-P conditions was observed among WA sorghum genotypes, but information is lacking on the usefulness of P-tolerance ratios (relative performance in –P [no P fertilizer] vs. +P [with P fertilizer] conditions) and measur...

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
